Home Is Where My Heart Resides

Home is not just a house or a shelter, a city or a town we simply live in. It is more than that. It is something more than a place to eat and sleep in. We could eat at a fancy restaurant, we could sleep in a luxurious hotel, we could even live in the middle of nowhere if we wished. But home is where your heart keeps coming back at the end of a long day.

In my eyes, home is where family starts and grows. It is a place where there is respect, kindness, love and compassion. It is a place where you want to retire at the end of the day, and just seems that all your exhaustion goes away. Imagine snuggling close to your loved ones on a cold winter night, under the warm sizzling hearth of their everlasting love. It is where we share family intimacy which builds a compassionate and loving community. Home is where my family is. Home is where your heart is.

Home is my safe-haven and comfort zone. It is where I feel a sense of belonging. It is a place where I feel accepted, no matter who and what I am. Home is a place where everybody genuinely cares for each other. It is where I can feel safe, protected and secure. Home is where I feel free.

Home is where we create and share lasting memories. It is where we rekindle and relive sentimental memories of childhood as years go by. I would not be able to visualize myself leaving my nostalgic home one day… That would be heart-wrenching!

In simple words, a home is a place where a family stays together at the end of a long tiring day. Home is where my heart resides.
