Home is not a place

Home isn’t just a place,
Home is somewhere you can express your feelings.
Home is somewhere you can be your crazy self.
Home is everywhere!
It can be hotels, streets, apartments,or even a camping sight.
Home is somewhere you can sleep all day.
Home to you could be climbing a tall mountain on a cold snowy day or living outside.
Home could be exploring the wilderness or seeing what happens when a alligator bites you.
All those things could be home to you.
Home isn’t a place.
Home to me is feeling safe.
Some people can’t say that.
Home to me is being warm on a cold winter day.
Some people don’t get to be warm on cold winter days.
Home to me is getting a cold breeze on a summer day.
Some people don’t get that.
Home to me is also standing by a beautiful ocean.
Home to me is seeing my friends happy and not scared to express their feelings.
Home isn’t a place it’s all around you.
