Home is Family

Home is somewhere you feel safe, happy, lazy, and sleepy. A place where you are with your family and pets, somewhere you don’t have to feel uncertain or guarded. Home for me means having food and water, a place to sleep, and being warm. It also means being with family, and having a place for the pets with access to the outside.
There is a big difference between home and housing. Housing is a roof over your head, and it could be in a group home or shelter. Housing can be owned or rented. Housing is the building that surrounds you, a physical structure, and it often has a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a living room.
Home is where you spend most of your time sleeping, eating, playing, and talking with your family. When I’m at home, I like to watch T.V., play video games, do nothing, and eat everything we have. When I’m at home, I feel happy, good, lazy, and cozy, like I could go to sleep in a few seconds.
