Home a place of love

Home a place of love

What does home mean to me? I have so many things I would like to tell you about what home means to me and today I will tell you most of them. To me, home is warmth and safety because I’m never hungry there, never wet or cold and I’m never hurt by anyone there, but honestly to me home means one big thing that makes me feel safe…love. It’s a place to sleep, a place to eat, a place to stay, a place of love because you see every day I wake up I can literally almost feel the love. People all over the world are cold, dying, hungry, they deserve a home just like I do, they deserve love. I remember being outside one night and being cold. It was at a cub camp and the fireplace was the only source of heat in the cabin and it was in the next room. It was super cold outside and every time someone opened the door a gust of cold air would fill the room. I needed to use the washroom so I headed out to the outhouse. I remember tripping up and falling on the cold ground and for that moment I felt alone. I used the washroom but every time the door blew open I shivered and wished I was back home in my nice and cozy bed with my loving family in the same house. Everyone deserves a home a place to live. Every day when I wake up there’s a family waiting for me to welcome me with cold water and warm food. Thank you, god, for this beloved gift a home.
