Home

Home is for comfort food and a place to rest your head
My living quarters is a place to laugh and cry
You are safe when you feel loved and nurtured
Being at home for me is like jumping into a pool of love
Going home after a long day is comforting to know I have someone at home I can talk to and will truly listen

It kills me to see so many people struggling to survive
Because we are all the same on the inside
Some people have nowhere to go in the cold Canadian snow
People should have a roof over their head
People should have the right to be fed
People should have somewhere to rest their load
It must feel as if they have been mowed over
Please oh please show support to families in need
Help end poverty
