Grade 6

A home is more than a wall, a roof, and some furniture
It is where each day can go by and you’ll still be joyful and protected
It’s a place of freedom and happiness
I know I’ve reached home when I hear the quiet sound of my father typing on his computer keyboard
Even if we may argue sometimes, I know it’s home when I see the delicate smiles of my parents standing in front of me
My home is like a campfire
It keeps me warm and relaxed
My home is something special
It cannot easily be replaced
