Grade 5

Oh, home!
The safest,
Truly the greatest,
A great shield against rain and snow,
Winds fast and slow,
It is a safe haven
Of brick or wood, sticks or stones,
For all creatures to rest softly, and soundly.

They may house just two, or close to one-thousand-and-one,
With cities they stand challenging the sun,
Homes, compact or spacious, loud or quiet, tall or wide,
they soon will be everywhere, so strap in for the ride
