H: Home is a place where I can feel safe, I feel welcomed, and most of all, feel loved. I am grateful for a home however not everyone can call a place their home. Not everyone can feel that they are welcomed in their home or as in baseball we would say “passing the home plate” meaning “going home”
O: Oh man, it’s cold in here! someone might say, since not everyone has heating at home. Some people sleep in cold, winter nights and I feel very grateful that my home has whatever it needs to keep me warm and safe.
M: Marvellous. I am one of the few lucky ones in this world that can call my home marvellous. My home has everything that I need to keep me alive. Some people have to endure sleeping on dirty streets , and in conditions that I can’t even imagine living in. So I am very thankful that I can call my home a “marvellous home”.
E: Electric. Not in a physical way, but in a mental way. My family, which is part of my home, are very hyped up, and always encouraging. That is a great feeling to have, when people out there don’t even have families to encourage them and love them.
So, for me, the meaning of home is a place where you can feel safe, loved, have a family to talk to , play with and encourage you. Most of all, I am very thankful that I am one of the few lucky ones that have a home.
