Grade 5

A home could be anything, but doesn’t HAVE to be a building. A home to me is a place where I feel free, safe, and peaceful. I also like the term “home” because it’s a term
based on anything but not like a hamburger.

When I think of home, I think of freedom. I think freedom can be beautiful, as in flowers, and open doors. The charity “Habitat for humanity” can make a beautiful home for you that might mean freedom. Home can also mean a beautiful place covered with flowers or a place under a bridge. The thing is home can be ANYWHERE as long as you’re staying in a place .Then at that moment it’s your home for as long as you want.

When I think of home, I think of a place of safety with strong walls, and a strong roof. Habitat For Humanity can make you a home that you can label “safe” so that you wouldn’t need to worry much about the dangers that can occur. The charity can make your house out of materials you can’t afford like metal, or wood.

When I think of home, I think of a peaceful place with birds, and nice people, but it can also be a bad place with robbers, like a gang house. Your home can be made far away from any bad places by the charity. You can just leave it up to the builders to pick a good place for your home. You wouldn’t have to worry much about bad hearings like bank robberies because of the help.

In conclusion, I think the charity is a very good one because they can help people who don’t have enough money to spend on water, electricity etc. Habitat For Humanity can support you in different ways for example housing, needs, freedom, safety, and peace.
