Home

This is a poem about home. A cave, hole, or a dome.
This explains what a person needs. So you can make good deeds
They need a ceiling and a floor. A couple of walls and more.
They need fresh water, dental care. And those are the things you could share.
Maybe some light and a friend in sight.
A family and friends to bring them to the end.
Some butter and cheese and carrots and peas.
Some apples and rye, and WI-FI.
Any type of food could be good.
A couple of wearings and some bearings.
A spoon, fork, knife, spork.
Also a cup and a bowl. Also a pan and some coal.
Paper and matches for a fire. And a job who needs a hire.
So if you see a family in despair. Give them something you can share.
A cave, hole, or a dome. To make themselves feel like home.
This is what they need for day and night.
So you can make something right.
Something to bite. Some friends in sight.
So they could follow the light.
