Home is where we welcome them all
With laughter in our smiles, and respect in our souls
With their hands filled with snack bowls
When you welcome them down your front hall.
When I’m in my home, I feel the warmth that our shared love makes.
With my dogs always happier when everyone’s home
But people without a home, must feel very alone
Oh….How it makes my heart ache.
Home is where your heart can be free
Where dreams and wishes are made upon birthday candles
Home is where the pictures on the wall are loved memories, with kids wearing sandals
Where your mom is there to help when you’re stung by a bee
Home is where we welcome the new members
Even the different, the short and small
And also the big and tall
With the support of your family, you can achieve great things.
