When I hear the word “home” I think of family. Not just my family but everybody’s family. Home should be a place of safety and freedom. When I come back from a vacation away from my home I am relieved. When I am in my home I feel happy, joyful, and excited. After a long day at school, I come into my home, throw off my coat, and forget about the whole day. Other people can’t feel that way because they don’t have a home; not all families live together or even close. Some people have to spend parts of their lives on the streets. Habitat for Humanity is a good way for people to have homes. Some people move from place, to place, to place, looking for a place to live. If they’re lucky, they will find where they belong. Home is where the heart is.
