Portage la Prairie
For me, home is where the heart is. When I come home from school, somebody is always there for me. Home is safe. Home is welcoming. Home is a place where I live, and a place where I am loved. A place where I have everything I need. A cozy, warm place. And then I think, what about the people who don’t have a home? So I feel very grateful for my home. On cold snowy days home is comfortable. But home is not just comfortable, joyful, cozy, warm and welcoming, it’s a place of family, love and dreams. Home is like a turtle shell, and I am the turtle. It’s a part of me. I live there. I have always thought that a house is made of walls and beams, but a home is made of love and dreams.
