When I was young I believed that everyone had equality.
When I was young I believed that every life was fun.
When I was young I believed that there was a place for everyone.
But now I’m old and I’ve been told that not everyone has a home.
And that is why I am writing this poem for the people who don’t have a home.
A place to stay.
A place to have fun.
A place to be warm.
A place to be loved.
A place you can call home.
