Newfoundland and Labrador
To me, my home is where i feel safe, where I am loved and am cared for. Where I have a warm bed, nice backyard, and live in a safe community. My home is my protector, that keeps me tucked away from the storm, the cold air outside, and the harsh world beyond its walls. It’s where I have sleepovers with giggles and jokes. With food on the table every night. Home is skating on the pond down the road and having fires in the backyard with hot dogs and marshmallows. It’s waking up in the morning to my mom and dad making breakfast. It’s playing with my brothers after lunch. Home is watching movies on a Friday night with my family. It’s when family members visit, making memories. It’s for coming home after a long day to relax and rest. Home is having clean water to drink, and good food to eat. Home is comfort you when you feeling low, with family by your side. A place of love, happiness, laughter, and joy.
There’s no place like home.
