Home

Home is a big word with many meanings inside of it.
Home represents determination, trust, and effort to our family. My family had lost their jobs and had no money to lean on. It was devastating, and hard for them coming home with no money to uphold our basic needs. The depressing time for my dad was unbearable. Knowing he wasn’t contributing his share of money and supplements to the family. But one day everything changed my dad had always dreamed of owning a business and it was time to pursue this dream. After buying the business it was completely terrorizing our family and taking more money out of us than we could uphold. We put it on the market about to sell it but then everything changed, not knowing how much this business means to us. We realized that we have given up to much to let this pass by and that we actually liked the business no matter what struggles it was going through. When we almost sold it felt like it was taking a piece of me and our family with it so we decided to keep it and uphold the expenses with my dad doing a side job as a banker. A couple years passed and the business was getting decently better as the days went on. Finally it was back to normal but we were living in a condo at the time, waiting for our home to be built. Dreaming about the memories ahead of us. Finally the day came, the day our house would be built, the day our memories were going to start, the day where our family would feel like a home again.
That is what home means to me.
