Feeling of Home
Home means so many things to so many people. For some, it means family and friends. For others it means shelter. But for me, home is a feeling. A feeling of security. A feeling of warmth. A feeling of rest. A feeling of comfort. A feeling of appreciation. And a feeling of love. Home is where you can feel secure while being guarded by shelter. Home is where you can feel warm with a roof over your head to shield yourself from the cold. Home is where you can rest soundly thanks to your soft bed. Home is where you can feel comfortable and unwind. Home is where you can feel grateful for the things that you have. Home is where you can feel loved by people who love you, including yourself. Alas, in Canada a multitude of people can’t afford a proper shelter or home. And for some people who do have a home, rent is too expensive for them, therefore, they don’t have proper necessities like clean water or warmth. Home means so many things to so many people, and I hope that one day, we can all feel that same feeling of home.
