Everyone Deserves A Home

Everyone Deserves A Home
By Mirah

Homes are valuable
Organized, Cozy and Reliable
Many things live in homes
Everyone deserves a home

When I’m at home I think of love
Like two pigeons and a dove
All in a circle like a loving family
Just how I feel as happy as can be

My home is a place I’d like to stay
And I’ll never leave, no matter what they say
When I see homeless people on the street
I want to give them lots of gifts like shoes for their feet

A few days ago, I gave food to people who needed it most
When we dropped it off we placed it by a post
As we read what the post said
“Put food here to be donated”
We new that it would be appreciated

We realized that this was a helpful place
To be donated to those who need a different pace
After that day I realized what was really inside
In me there was hope but not if I cried

So let’s all cherish the homes we live in
And have hope that we can begin
A better life for those in need
So that they can feed
Their children, parents and pets
And even if they have to use nets

You should have food
So if you’re a dudette or dude
You should have food and a roof over your head
And a very cozy, comfortable bed
So I hope you and your friend
Have a home that will never end.
