All About Home

When I get home from a long day of school, I am greeted by my baby sister, who is so excited to see me. Home means a feeling of comfort. It means being loved by my family. You feel comfort in your home. Home is fun and cozy. It can also be crazy.

My home is red with a black roof. My door is white and it has a rectangular glass window in the muddle. It has a very large living room. When you walk in, you can see a very beautiful kitchen. These do not make my house a home.

I hear my baby sister make funny noises. I hear my brother yelling at me when I scare him. I hear my Mom tell me that she loves me so very much before I go to school. I feel her giving me a hug and a kiss before I go to bed. I smell my Mom’s delicious cupcakes, cakes, cookies and other foods cooking in the oven. Home is where you feel comfortable. You can have Family Game Night. You can celebrate the holidays with your family in your home.

Home is a very special place for me because I have my family with me. A lot of people in the world don’t have anywhere to call home. I am so grateful to have my home.
