A Rough Day
To me, home is a place that is safe. It should be filled with people and things that make you feel relaxed and comfortable. After school and dance, I’m not just going back to the house; I’m going home. When I’ve had a rough day, home is the place that I can let my emotions go without embarrassing myself or getting in trouble. I know that when I come home, everything will be all right. I don’t have to worry about the events of that day because I can talk it out or do things that give me time to think or calm down. When I’m at home, I can think about the problem without having to pay attention to the lesson and come up with a good solution. If I can’t figure it out on my own, I can always ask my parents (or my cat, but she doesn’t help much). Home is a place I can go after a rough day.
