A place to call home
A home is a place
Where relaxation arises
At night when you close your eyes.
Whether it’s old and weathered
Or shiny and new
It’s a place you can always find within you.
A place to call home, is a place to find faith
Whether it’s nearby, or far far away.
A home can be a book, a person or a place
But most of all, it’s a place where you feel safe.
A home, it seems, is where you find beauty in your dreams.
A place to discover, to wonder and to wander.
A place to call home, is a place to feel sonder.
For those without homes, I feel great sorrow
As they are just lost, waiting to discover.
