A Nice Place to Stay

I have a warm and cozy place to stay,
home is where I go to play
with my two sisters and parents.

We now have a place where we may sit together
as we don’t bother of dismay.
Here in this place where we can sleep,
soft and soundless
while many others who are in dismay,
live out on the streets without a place to play.

We all eat happily together,
while others must beg.

We never realize how fortunate we are,
as we lay in bed
they are almost dead.,

So here people are,
writing poems and essays
so all can have a nice warm place to stay,
to sleep, to eat, and all play,
as others watch and wait,
to go to their new homes,
then the homeless, now have a home.
