A letter to someone with no place to call home

Dear friend,

I know there are things going on right now and I hope things will get better. It must be so hard going to sleep and feeling like you’re not safe or you are still hungry from your tiny bit of food from super. I’m grateful for my lifestyle and I never want to take it for granted.

You might get called names or not be appreciated for who you are, but I hope someday you will find the worth in you. You are loved. I want you to know that there are so many people who care for you, including me. It may seem like you’re alone but you’re not you’re not. I care for you. You are a human being you deserve a home; you deserve people who care for you, and people do.
