A Home To Me

Home. What is a home? Is it where you live? Where you love? Where you laugh? Where you grow up, share memories and even cry? Turns out, a home is actually many different pieces. Family, friends and the country you represent all make up your home.

The energy flowing in a house makes me feel safe, calm and makes me who I am. When you have a family to share your thoughts, goals and challenges with, you feel like you’re at home, even if you aren’t physically there. Family makes a piece of your home.

My friends mean a lot to me. They are like my siblings. If you lose a friend, it doesn’t mean that the piece of your home is gone. You can always make new friends. Me and my friends have a special bond. They also make me who I am. They make me feel safe and secure. Friends make a piece of your home.

My country is where I live. Where everyone around me lives. Where millions and millions of people live. Your country is a piece of your home.

But there are some people who don’t have a home. They can’t find any pieces of their home. That is why I want to help. Those who don’t have homes aren’t safe or secure. Giving them a home will make them feel safe. It will also allow me to help provide a home for families that don’t have one. This will help find the pieces of their home and start a new life.
