A Home Is Also A Feeling

There’s a difference between a house and a home. A house is just a shelter that you rely on to protect you. It’s just a place full of furniture. A home welcomes you with open arms, no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve been through. A home comforts you during your hardest times. A home is mostly shared with loved ones. And sometimes, home is not just a place, but also a feeling. Home can be anywhere where you feel at peace, happy, relaxed, etc. Some people can give you that feeling. A feeling of comfort and peace. Sometimes, people don’t have to give you the feeling. Sometimes, you just feel it when you’re alone, maybe just curled up reading a book, or even just watching TV. If we’re referring to making a house a home- then usually, in your home, there’s laughter and happiness. But sometimes, home is about helping people who are facing problems either physically or mentally. Home accepts you for who you are and leaves room for who you may become. Home is a place that takes you in when no one else will. Some people may not be able to feel at home, or live in a home, but their time will come. It may take years, months or even simply just days, but you have to be patient- because one day, you will feel at home. Never give up on feeling at home, it will happen.

Home is can be found anywhere.
