A House is not a Home
When I moved into my house I felt nervous, scared and afraid. A house is just walls and bricks while a home is more. A door and windows is what a house has but a home has so much more. A house has a roof for shelter but a home has a roof to keep the love and memories in and not over spilling. You buy a house with money not love. People build a house, properly strangers. Love, life and care comes from families as they walk in.
I watch curling and hockey from my living room. We celebrate Birthdays, Halloween, Christmas and Thanksgiving. Yes we might make mistakes or bad memories but we fix it with love and family. The smell of my moms cooking fills the kitchen making me feel hungry.A house is just a building but a home is where we live and it's where we love. I love packing for field trips, bags and clothes on the floor. Pictures from France on the shelves. All my lego displayed on the shelf. Just remember a house is not a home.
