What Does My Home Mean To Me?

Home isn't just a concrete building, with a roof over it. It's way more than that to me. My home is where I make memories with my friends and my loved ones. When I walk into my home,on the concrete tiles I feel loved. I can hear my little brother watching cartoons upstairs by the tv. My mum goes down the wooden stairs that have a red flower carpet and then my mum greets me by giving me a warm and big hug and asks me about my day as we go up the stairs. To begin with, my family talks to me on our big grey couch and they say lots of things like, you can Pursue your dreams or you can be whatever you want to be. They give compliments to me that make me feel special. My Family and your family makes me and you feel loved, included and cared for. They help me a lot with lots of things, like studies, dances and drawing. Then there is food, food is an important thing in life, my mum cooks healthy and tasty food. Then we discussed how our day was, at the wooden table. I say that my day was awesome and I say what I did at my school on the chair. At home I can express my emotions and feelings without anyone saying dreadful things about me. It's a place where I will not get judged for anything. My family supports me with anything I do. My parents let me express my big feelings and give their own opinion and how to fix the problem. Overall, I believe everyone deserves a home not just to live in, but to be loved, and to make wonderful memories with their kids, siblings and parents.
