Meaning of Home

My home is not just a building, it is so much more. My home is happy, safe, cozy, warm and a place to sleep with a roof over your head. Everybody deserves a home. Nobody should have to sleep outside. In my home I feel safe and warm. When I lie down I just say to myself I am so lucky to have a beautiful and big home. My home means everything to me. My home is a place where I can practice my basketball and where I feel safe to sing out loud. My home is a place where I can be sick. My home is a place where I can play and laugh with my sisters. In my home I have two sisters, one older sister and one younger sister. There can be some little fights every now and then but never too much.I am so lucky to have sisters to play with. My sisters make my home feel so full of love, when my sisters are gone my home feels a lot more empty. My home is a place where me and my family celebrate special moments and big occasions together. We make memories that last forever. I have lived in my home since I was a baby, it is my comfortable place I love to return to. My home is where my heart will always be. All of these nice things I have told you about is why my home is so much more than a building to me.
