What the Word Home Means to me
To me home is not a place, it's the warm feeling inside that makes you feel like you’re sitting next to a cozy fire while sipping hot chocolate, a place where I feel like I can be anyone or anything. Somewhere I feel welcomed.
Even if you're not technically home you may feel like you are. I mean sometimes I have the feeling of home by just being with good people . It doesn't really matter how big or small the home is, it is how big or small the feeling is.
My home is a lot of places, like my grandparents house feels like home because I have a lot of memories. I also have a lot of memories at my best friend Abigail’s house or Chiaka’s house or my friend Isla’s house or maybe just in my sister's room.
I also feel at home when I am at school, when the teachers talk about what’s right and what's wrong because I feel safe, I feel at home.
The feeling of home is cozy warm and welcoming but a house is just a hollow building even if your home isn't a building doesn't mean it isn't a special place in your heart. In other words home is a unique place where you feel remarkable.
Home is a loving, caring and trustworthy environment, where you should feel protected. Home is where you feel safe, cared for, and like you belong. Where you feel free.
