Home

Home can't just be a place you live in. It is a place to hold memories, celebrations and feeling safe. These are some memories that make me feel home. Number one is rollerblading with my friends around my complex. I love going down big hills on sunny days. Feeling the fresh wind on my face. A second memory is going to Moody Park every day in summer hanging out with bunch of family friends while the men play soccer. We have big picnics there and we just have fun talking and playing. I feel the warm sun dancing on my face. I felt happy, loved, and safe. Next, I want to get into the fun and exciting part. CELEBRATIONS! I celebrate Ramadan, Eid, and birthday parties. I love celebrating birthdays by inviting friends and family. Playing hide and seek, eating pizza and cake. I love spending time celebrating fun holidays. Last but not least, the most important part is feeling safe. Feeling safe makes me feel comfortable. I go under my blanket when there is lightning to make me feel safe. I hope you got an understanding of what home means to me What does home mean to you?
