Everyone Deserves a Home

To me, home is a feeling, a knowing that no matter what, you are safe, respected and cared for. To me, home is my dad, mom, my sister and I eating at the dinner table together while my cats are meowing at our feet. Home is everyone helping each other whenever someone needs help, when I am with my family, I know that no matter what I am safe, respected and cared for. To me home is my whole family sitting down for christmas dinner, even if we disagree, we all still belong and we all still care about each other. I know that I can always count on my home when I have ruff day. Sometimes, I like to just sit down and rest while, other days I like to run around and play with my family. In my room, I have my bed, my desk, two book shelves and a walk-in closet. Some mornings, me and my cats Iris and Sweetpea, like to snuggle on my bed together. Also sometimes, me and my family like to wake up in the morning and make waffles. These moments make my home, home. Most people's home is their house/condo etc. But really, your home can be anywhere that you really feel at home. Really, your home is a place where you are safe, respected, cared for and where you belong. That's why everyone deserves a home that they can rely on.
