The meaning of home

The meaning of home! Home is where I feel safe to share my feelings, not feel judged and be myself. Home sounds like my cat purring and the vacuum cleaning my home. In my kitchen I smell yummy food being made by my mum or dad. In my room I lay in my bed with my cozy blankets wrapped around me while my mum tucks me in each night. Each day I'm home with my dad I love learning and hearing about all the stories that he shares about nature to me and my brother. Even though I have to wake up early in the morning for my brother's hockey, I love him so much and I want him to follow his dreams! And in the summer I love playing football with my older brother! Home isn't just a building, it's a place where you gain friend and family bonds and is full of love and memories! By: Allie Macleod
