My Home Is Where My Love Is Reassured

When I come home after a long day at school, I am greeted by my mom. I feel so loved in moments like that. As I walk up my stairs and lay in my cozy bed, I feel the relief of my body just relaxing and sinking into my bed. As I’m chilling, I hear the sound of my brother playing on his xbox and my dad arriving home from work. It reminds me how amazing my brother and dad are. Later, I smell the mouth watering scent of my mom making supper. She comes in and says “I have super made”, “Thanks”, I say. In my home I am surrounded by people I love and who love me. I often think what an amazing house I have with such caring people. My house is a place where I'm comfortable expressing my feelings and a place where I won't feel judged. A home does not have to be pretty, it just has to feel safe and happy! When I am in my home I feel happy, zen and soothed. I am surrounded by people that set an example for me! My home is special, different from others. I like that about it. My home is a place that will always have a spot in my heart, I hope your home does too. I have my mom, dad, brother and me in my home and that is all I could wish for. If they weren't in my house then it wouldn't be a home. This is a reminder to be thankful for your home and cherish the things and people that make your home yours! The best part of my home is that I am loved no matter what.
