The Difference between a Home and a House

What makes a home and house different. The difference between a house and a home is that a house is where you live and is a building. A home is where your family is and how it makes you feel good, safe and comfy. I’ve lived in different houses and it still felt like home when we moved to a new house because my family and the stuff I like moved with me. There’s things about a house you can miss like the giant stair case but it’s not what made it home. Things I like to do in my house that makes it feel like home is play games like smash bro with my brother and step dad or read books to my sister. It’s watching shows together with my family. The memories you create makes it feel more like home. Home is eating your favorite food together and talk about what happened at school that day. After a long day or vacation when I go to my room I feel happy, excited and sleepy because I see my fluffy blanket and bed. My dog sniffs me when I get home and he gets happy, my cat gets the zoomies because he’s happy I am home. Anything can happen in a house , the dishwasher could be broken, it can be big or small, but it can still be your home. Then there’s Nan and pops house, it’s basically home to you because in my opinion it’s anything that makes you feel comfortable, loved and happy.
