Home Means Alot

Home means a lot to me. It is my happy place. I have a bed to sleep on and some people do not have a place to sleep. I am very grateful to have a place to rest. My bed is very big and very soft. I have a blanket and a pillow. That's all I need to be grateful. I'm grateful for everything I have, especially my moms cooking. Her chicken tacos are my favorite. They are handmade and smell delicious and her home made waffles are so fluffy they are my favorite too. My dad’s cooking is also delicious. He makes stuffed peppers and they are so good! He makes pancakes and they are delicious as well. Next, a house is just brick walls and a shingle roof but a home is a cozy, warm, safe, place to be. You should be allowed to be yourself. You should be safe at home too, with clothing, water, and food, especially clothing but all of it is really important. Also to make it a home is what you do at home, like me and my family watch movies every saturday and that also makes me happy. That's what makes home a safe place to be and a loving place to be.
