The difference between a house and a Home

A house is a place where you will find four walls and a roof. At a house, your feelings are not quite connected with those four walls and a roof, It feels… empty. And then there is a home, A place where me and my family can share memories with each other and have laughs together, have good times together, as well as just making others feel included and welcome. even when they are having a bad day. In the living room, I watch TV with my parents after dinner. It’s also where my parents go when they are doing important stuff like planning a vacation. Or signing me up for summer camp. In the kitchen, my mom is cooking DELICIOUS modern cuisine with the BEST scents ever! Sometimes I call her a yum-machine 2000! In the basement, I feel warm and safe. Like nothing can hurt me when I'm playing video games down there. Sometimes I call it my Den because down there I hang out with my friends and we talk so much, it’s like we never run out of stuff to say. And Last but not least, My bedroom. It’s where I relax when I feel like I just need to get away from all of the hustling and bustling downstairs. Or sometimes I just want to walk up there and play video games. In conclusion, home is a place that hugs me so, and at home there is only friend and no foe. Home is a place where I feel safe from danger. like I am locked up in knights armour. Because home is where the heart is.
