Home Sweet Home

In my home, I feel safe, I am in a shelter, and I feel loved. I am accepted for who I am and I can be open to my parents. I feel safe at home because I have one big dog and one very small dog and cameras and many escape exits. I feel loved when I’m watching a scary movie with my dad and I’m snuggled up with him because it’s pretty scary. My home is a shelter that protects me from the cold rain and thunder. My dogs' names are Blaire and Chiwawa. My chihuahua is small but very spicy. When I grab her toy she comes and jumps on me, determined to get her toy. My chihuahua can actually be very scary sometimes. When she is on my bed sleeping, I try to move her but she knows I'm about to move her, she grumbles saying ‘’ DON’T MOVE ME’’. I get home from a long day of school, she comes running to me and puts her ears back like a bat and her upper lip curls! On the other hand, my Great Dane is just a big teddy bear. She is scared of my cat Kali, she is scared of my Chihuahua. She does have a booming bark though, When my dad or mom gets home, she comes trotting to the door, so happy to see my parents. I have cameras and locks for my door and my dogs, these things make me feel safe. My home is a loving home, when I am ever watching a movie with my dad, he always snuggles next to me. That makes me feel loved, safe and sheltered. Every meal my mom makes is made with love, such as eggs on toast, peanut butter sandwiches and ramen noodles. I have a nice bed in a nice room full of books that I can read. I feel loved when I am down and my parents come to comfort me by hugging me and making me a cup of hot chocolate. These gestures make me feel loved and supported no matter what. Home is a shelter because it protects me and my family from poisonous plants and dangerous animals such as foxes, wolves’ and bears. It protects me from the cold rain and the cold weather. My home provides healthy food for me to grow and learn so I can have a healthy, bright future. It shelters me from the dangers of the outside world that are natural disasters and things that could hurt and scar me. I live in my home with my grandfather, he is sheltered because he lost his wife two years ago and my mom did not want him to be alone in his empty house, so now, he’s sheltered. That is a nice sheltered home with my family members. A great home is a sheltered home that protects you from the outside world. A great home is a loving one that makes you food to eat and to grow. A great home is a safe home that protects you from dangerous animals. My favorite thing in my home is my PS5 because my parents whent out of their way to buy me that. That gesture makes me feel loved.
