This House is My Home

This house is my home, I’ve got everybody here. They pick me up when I fall, through each stumble, small or tall, Lifting me up, answering every call. I’ve never been stronger, more sure, more alive, Their love is my anchor, the reason I thrive. Laughter fills the air, light as a song, It’s the sound of our love, where we all belong. The warmth in the air carries scents of the day, of meals shared together, in the sweetest way. When I look at this place, it’s a burst of bright colors, a wonderful rainbow shining bright. In every gentle hug, the touch is perfect like a warm bundle of love. In each room the space hums gently, a peaceful den, Where love is the rhythm that keeps us sustained. The smell of dinner drifts through the door, The smell of comfort, or something more. If I had the perfect taste, a mix of sweets on my tongue, the perfect amount everytime I come. This house is my home, where I’ve found my place, Their laughter, their love, their light shining through, Turns this house into a home, and makes me feel new. Anywhere I go with my family by my side turns any house into a beautiful home, a loving spotlight that will never go away.
