What home means to me

The front entrance is where I take my shoes off after a long day of school. It is also where I smell my grandma baking cookies or muffins. The kitchen is where I grab snacks and bake cookies. It is also where I greet my dad after he gets home from work. The kitchen is a great place to be. The living room is where my family plays board games and has movie night. It also is where I go after I wake up to watch Sports Centre. When the Toronto Maple leafs are playing I am watching from the television in my living room. My bedroom is where I sit down to read and sleep. My room is the room where I rest after a long game of hockey or lacrosse. The basement is where I play mini sticks with my brother and my dad. It's also where I play NHL 25 with my friends and family. The backyard is where in the winter we build an outdoor rink for me and my brother to pretend we're the best hockey players on planet earth. In the summer it is where we make smores over the fire pit after a game of tag. The dining room is where I eat dinner after a long day. It is where I talk to my family about their day. But my home is where memories are made with friends and family. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping people in need. Beckett
