Home is NOT just where you SLEEP and EAT

Home is not just where you sleep, it’s where you can come home from school or work and be excited to see and interact with family, pets and loved ones. Or simply laying down in YOUR bed and feel that wave of love surrounding you. It’s where you can have those family movie or game nights and just not care about your worries, like that homework that you just won’t want to finish or your chores. Home is where you can go and sit down with your family and know that you are safe and secure. It’s also where you get in those siblings love fights where your dad says, “It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.” Then you get hurt, then get mad at your brother or sister but then you talk it out by giving each other a little hug. But what I’m trying to say is, you can’t find all these things at your friends house or your cousin’s house. You can find friendship and stuff, but you don’t find your bed and pets or your family. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for going through all this trouble for those who don’t have a place for them to call home.
