What Home Means to Me

Home is the view of the mountains. When I stand in my backyard this scene is breathtaking. The breeze in my hair makes me calm. My mother would always make us hot chocolate on chilly days we didn’t have school and in the summer, she would bake cookies. Our home; where we have planted our roots. When I think of home I image my family and friends all together. To me, home is a place to celebrate your culture and heritage. Home is somewhere were you can sit around the fire with people you love or just have fun with. I love the afternoons when I come home from school and I can smell my dads delicious homemade pulled pork sandwiches. This is what I think of home.
