What is a good home to me

A good home is a place where I feel comfortable, safe, relaxed, loved and a place I can rely on. It is a place I look forward to going at the end of my day. My house is just a few blocks away from my school and hardly any steps down to where my classmate lives. It is in a safe community with lots of friendly people. At night, I feel comfort and easygoing sleeping on my soft and comfortable bed. I consider that safety and comfort are very important characteristics of my home. A house can separate the cold wind, snow or weather outside to make me feel shielded and protected. A home helps me weather the storms of life. My mother often reminds me to rest and she always prepares delicious foods. I know that everything she does for me represents the love she has for me. I can also tell that she loves me because when I am unhappy, uncomfortable or disappointed, she always supports me. She understands me the most and the care she shows towards my family is what creates that feeling of a home. I think having a good home is necessary for us to become our best selves. I am happy to have a good home.
