A House is different from a home…

A House is different from a home… by Chloe Stewart A house is a wall, oven, window, chair or a table. That is a house. You can buy a blue chair, paper but you can't buy a loving family. A family is someone to talk to and to be safe with. Sometimes a book is a home, like reading your favorite book before bedtime. Home is a place where you can have fun playing tag with your siblings or to draw with your mom or dad. Home is the smell of your favorite chocolate chip Cookies made when you come back from school. Home is the sound of the laughter from your sister when your Dad makes up a joke. Home is when you hug your dad and feel his scrunchy beard. Home is the soft fur of your dog, cat or a bunny. A pet is someone to cuddle when you are sad. You can pet them or play catch . Home is to be as silly as you can be. A home is full of love, joy and memories like looking through a family book . That is why a house is different from a home.
