Home is NOT a House

I have a home that was once a house. A home does not need to necessarily be a house. A home has sentimental stuff and people, a house is just a random house, on a random street, in a random city. A home is a house that you've personalized with your stuff and your smell. A house could be your friend's home. It’s not your home but it’s their home. A house can be turned into a home with time, love, and care. In a home, you feel welcomed and loved and joyful. When you’re in your home, you’re surrounded by your family and you feel safe. On stormy days, your home protects you from the hurling storm outside. Anything can be a home as long as you have what you need. Everyone needs and deserves a home including you.
