Home is in You

Home might not be where you live, it could be a sport you play, it could be anywhere. The house you live in isn't your home. A house is just a place with bricks and walls. Home is a place where you can feel safe. You can have the support you need when you do. When we are in the living room playing a game my silblings start laughing in tears. When I get back from school my parents ask me how school was and I would say great. Something that I like is being on the couch with a cozy up in a blanket while drinking hot chocolate. A place that I feel really safe is gymnastics. I feel confident with people cheering for me. In the summer I make flower crowns for my mom and me. When my siblings and I are in the backyard, we are begging my mom to play tag with us. Then she will play with us. Then when we get inside. We will watch a movie while eating popcorn. My Dad will be playing soccer with my brother. At my home I have learned so much. When I am going to bed my dad is reading me a book. I feel safe and comfortable with him. Me and my mom are watching TV together. Me and my siblings play catch together. When we have a snow day we make a snow fort and go sledding. That is my home.
