Home Meaning in Vietnam

In Vietnam, the word "home" can be translated as "nha" in Vietnamese. "Home" refers to a physical house or place of residences where people live, but it can also mean "home" in a more abstract sense. The roof and safety that my family experiences while in our own home is very special. In Vietnamese culture, the concept of home is very important, it is often associated with family and community. Vietnamese people attach great importance to hospitality, welcoming guests into the house, so the house is considered a place of reunion and exchange of loved ones. In addition, in Vietnam, there is a traditional custom called "eating TET" which involves cleaning the house thoroughly and preparing special dishes to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This highlights the importance of the house in Vietnamese culture, as it is considered a central part to celebrate important events and milestones. I'm 11 years old and I have another house in Canada and I'm glad I have two. I am proud of my family, love, and I love to spend time with my family in my homes. When I arrived in Canada I was very happy because I had two homes to go back to. My neighbours are very happy and treat my family very good. My home is even more special because of this. My family is honoured to be in Canada.
