My Home

My house is like Best Buy on Black Friday. Chaos all around, but I deal with it. Home has the smell of delicious lemon tarts in the oven. It has the taste of the chocolate chip cookies my mom whips up for dessert. Home to me, is a safe space, a place here I can be me. Home is where culture and love can survive and thrive. I love my home, and it loves me back. Home is a fortress of love, a place where my talent and knowledge for Pokémon games can run wild, free without a care in the world. Habitat for humanity strive to give everyone a home they deserve. I want to help. After all, we’re all in this together.
