A Home Is
Did you know that when you walk home for school and you have a home you are lucky! There are some people out there who don’t have a home. This is what home means to me.
A home is familiar and predictable because of the bench for my coat, the shoes at the door and the couch to sit on and some food to eat. Some people don’t have this stuff.
A home feels like love, care and happiness.A house is made of bricks and home is made with love and care. Some people don’t have this feeling when they walk into the place they live in.
A home is not a car, a tent and a bench and every deserves a real home not like a tent or a car. I love what Habitat for Humanity is doing. So people don’t have to live in their car or tent or on a bench.
This is what makes my home special. I have a great family, All of my awards and my great dog. Some people don’t have any of this stuff.
Homes don’t have to be fancy and everyone deserves a place called home that is why I love what Habitat for Humanity is doing. I just hope that one day everyone will have a place to live where they can go. Home is safe because of the roof over my head, the locks on the doors and my family. Some people never feel safe if they are homeless.
