My Home

My home is the smell of Filipino food when I walk through the door. My home is waking up grumpy in a cold room on a school day. My home is watching game shows with my parents at night. In my home, I like to play my piano on a higher octave, because I want to make my family members cry (in a "I really like this DRAMATIC piano piece kinda way.)" In my home, when I go to sleep, I like to listen to my Alexa play the radio. On snow days when I wake up, I barge into my mom and dad's room and shout SNOWDAY and they look at me and say: "Why do you wake up early when there's no school but try to go back to sleep on school days?" I would say: "Ok, I'm going back to sleep!" BUT I CAN NEVER GO BACK TO SLEEP! !!! When I am asleep, I feel very safe being under layers and layers of warm blankets. Home is where I hear my noisy hamster in his ball. He gets lost in the kitchen so much, under tables, plant stands, and in a whole bunch of stuff! Home is when I feel all warm and fuzzy inside drinking hot cocoa when I feel cold at breakfast on weekends. I love my home, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Home isn't as far as the eye can see. It's as far as your heart can see. That's my meaning of home. Tell me yours.
