The Meaning of Home
When I think of home, I think it should be a place where all should be safe and loved. I feel lucky to have a safe home and loving parents.
Home is a place and a feeling of where I am welcome and accepted for who I am. I also believe that home is “Wherever you hang your hat”; where you choose to make your home.
The three words I use to describe my home are: Loud, Work, and Family. All of these things mean something to me in a way that goes to my heart.
Loud. Loudness brings life to my home. It's the music that is playing and my mom and dad talking with their friends. Loud is when my friends and I are playing in my backyard and passing a football.
The “loud” gives me joy.
Work. Work is a thing that I enjoy. It's earning my keep in my house. When I work I feel like I am doing something to help my family and my home. When I am working with my mom and dad because it tells me that I am loved by my parents.
Family. Family is all the things we do together and the good times we share with each other. When I think about family, I also think of my dog as she is always with us when we do things together.
This is what home means to me.
